Secretary and Administrative Professionals Contest (SAPC)
IASAP India, conducts a Secretary of the Year Contest,
every alternate year, with qualifying rounds conducted by Chapters at
the regional level and the Grand Finale in Mumbai. The regional
winner in Tamil Nadu is chosen from six finalists at a glittering
event held at The Taj Coromandel Hotel, which is attended by member
Secretaries, their Bosses and their respective spouses. The regional
winner and first runner up then go on to Mumbai for the All India
Finals. The Tamil Nadu Chapter has the distinction of three All India
winners and three All India First Runners-up.
The contest comprises five parts - rating on the
application as preliminary round - a general knowledge/work related
Written Test as the first round, a Group Discussion in front of a
panel of three eminent business men/women, followed by a Personal
Interview by the same panel as the second and third qualifying
rounds, from which the six finalists are arrived at. The finale is an
Extempore Speech by the six finalists at a gala dinner. The Regional
Winner in Tamil Nadu will be chosen from this final 6. Member
Secretaries, their bosses, their respective spouses and icons of
Corporate Chennai are invited to this event.
The Winner and First Runner Up at the Regional level
represent the Chapter at the All India Finals in Mumbai. We are proud
to say that the Tamil Nadu Winner has lifted the All India crown
thrice.

August 2010 at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai.
Sponsored by DHL with dinner hosted by Taj Mahal Hotel.
The winner was Ms Firoza Driver of Vodafone Essar Ltd., Mumbai.
